On November 11, 1992 some Bulgarian banks, financial institutions and individuals founded "Atanas Burov" Foundation led by their common will tp suppoirt development of banking and finance in the country. The foundation was named after after the prominent banker and politician of the past Atanas Burtov

Today, November 12, 1992 in the City of Sofia, quided by the intention to to unite the effort and interest of the financial instittutions and experts:

■  to preserve and develop the Bulgarian banking traditions;
■  to provide assistance to and promote development of banking and finance in Bulgaria;
■  to organise broad educational activities in the field of banking and finance;
■  to train and qualify presonnel;
■  to provide financial and assistance to reaserch studies on banking and finance

We, the under signed, declare our will to found with our donantions a foundation named after Atanas Burov.
